Cool Chick

Dad thought it would be funny to put his sunglasses on me and take a picture. He does that to our dog Gourmet too. He is in Spokane for 5 days for camp so Mom and I are hanging out all weekend with Aunt Kristi. I can't wait to see her!
I went to my cousins house last night and had dinner. They love me so much. Kissing my head and touching my hands all the time. And I smile when they say my name. It will be fun when we can play together. I will learn lots from them!

Beat the Heat

It has been so hot here for a couple of days... so to help Papa Mike and Grandma Wylene, I invited them over for dinner last night in our air-conditioned house. Papa put his Mariners hat on me. I am not sure what it is... I am giving Papa a strange look. :-)

This morning I am all smiles. I am going with Mom and Dad to meet a lady who may watch me when they go back to work. I sure hope I like her. She watches a few kids at her home and I have been told it is almost like going to Grandma's house. We all are hoping this works out so we can relax this summer and know I will be in good hands.

Sleepy Head

These days I am sleeping a lot... I think I am going through a growth spurt. I take cat naps during the day and then sleep for about 8 hours at night.


When I am awake, I love to play! It is fun now that daddy is home so I can get to know him better... and it gives mommy a little break. I look at my toys that dangle above me and smile when talked to. I also like to exercise my legs... I am getting them ready for all the great sports I will be in. Can't let all my fans down!
I will also be ready to participate in the Fourth of July kids races next year. My cousins Emily and Ashley will be in it again this year. I will cheer them on, but compete next time. They better watch out!

Shower and Shots

I have had a lot happening in the last few days. Saturday, I went with Mommy and Daddy to a shower just for me! I received lots of cute clothes and sorts from Daddy's family and friends in the Seattle area. We took many family photos too. I was tired from all the excitement and slept all the way home.
Then on Monday I went for my 8 week check-up... of course I passed with flying colors. I now weigh 11 lbs. 10 oz. and am 23 1/2 inches long. But along with the good report came 5 shots!!! My poor thighs! I only cried a little at the doctor's office, but screamed later at home. See my bandaids? It wasn't much of a consolation prize. But I am doing better now.

Hello Daddy!

I am starting to take bottles so Mommie can have a break now and then. Boy do I suck them down! It takes half the time to eat... but that means more air bubbles too. As you can see, I got Daddy good with an air bubble, and some spit up!
But I am all smiles afterward.
I rolled over again today and Grandma Carolyn and Mommy were there with cameras rolling.










I also like to play under my toys and Daddy thought it would be cute to try it with me. So we played together.

I ROLLED OVER!!!

On Friday, Mom put me on my tummy for some strength training and I showed her... I rolled onto my back! She was so excited. We play together in the morning after breakfast and I give her so many smiles. But I still act as though I forgot how when the camera comes out. As for Dad, I still don't show him any. :-) But I did show him how I roll over Saturday morning. He was just as thrilled.

Today I am told that I will go to my fisrt basketball games. I have been to several baseball games and am curious about this new sport. I hear that I will grow up to play them so I better check it out now. And tomorrow I am going to Grandma Wylene and Papa Mike's house for another family BBQ. I like those. I see my cousins, aunt and uncles and everyone holds me. It is a good time. Maybe I will show them my smile!
