Happy Birthday to...

not me... just yet.

It's Grandma Carolyn's birthday. I made a special sign (with daddy's help) for you! I tried to sing too... you can see that my mouth is open. But I haven't quite got the wording. Hope you have a special day and I can't wait to see you again. Love you!
As you can see... I am holding onto the couch and love to move sideways. I haven't taken but one or two steps facing forward, but love to move along sideways. Look out Gourmet - pretty soon I will be able to chase you even better!

Surprise!

As many of you may already know... daddy's basketball team placed second in the state tourney. I got to watch two games. The T-Dome was really big and I had fun. One time when we went to say congrats to daddy for another win, I got to stand behind the bars. I liked that.
We had a surprise revealed on Monday... I am going to get a sister for a sibling! Mom and dad found out and now they are talking about names and room colors. I try to give my opinion but I don't think they understand what I am saying. I still babble up a storm and am standing up to EVERYTHING! I have even figured out how to get down from a standing position. Next will be moving around on my own two feet... you just wait! It won't be long.

Play time!

My new cheesy smile... it makes daddy laugh! Mom and I are missing him as he left tonight for the T-Dome for state basketball. Good luck to the Monarchs! If they win a few, mom promised to take me for a game.

Look at me... I still love the box house Grandpa Dallas made for me. Look out... I'm gonna get you!

I can't believe I am almost 11 months old!! Pretty soon I will be celebrating my 1st birthday. Time sure flies. I am really fast now with crawling and pulling myself to a standing position some. When mom and dad hold my hands and stand me up, I can take steps to move. I am also talking up a storm. Of course no one can understand what I am saying... so I have to talk to myself. But I like making new sounds... it feels funny coming out of my mouth.
My favorite new toy is the ball popper Papa Mike and Grandma Wylene gave me for Christmas. I push the red handle and squeal in delight with hands flailing as it shoots plastic balls in the air. I could do this all day!
