Halloween Preparations

This year my parents got on the ball and we went to the pumpkin patch early (last year we went the day before Halloween). Since I am such a big girl now, dad took me to shop at Bob's for some cool rubber boots. He wanted to buy the pink camo ones, but they didn't have my size. So I got the yellow ones and off to the fields we went.
Kaitlyn even went, but she slept in her car seat while we picked out the right size pumpkins for everyone.
Carving pumpkins was fun! I wouldn't stick my hands in the guts to help get them out, but I had fun watching mom, dad, and grandpa Dallas do it. Dad even carved a pumpkin with my initial and sissy's initial in it!
I love the pumpkin faces!!!
Look out Halloween, I can be just as scary! (Although my costume won't be too scary - I will be a fairy witch.)

Goofing around

We love to play around and here I am trying to get at the camera. I tend not to stay in one place long enough to have a picture taken. Now that I know I can see the picture, I want to always be on the other side of the lens. Speaking of playing, I love to try and play with Kaitlyn - or at least play with her stuff. I like the mat she lays under and especially love the chair that sings and vibrates. Oh - and did I mention I am going through the phase of not wanting to wear clothes when I can get away with it?
But this past Saturday was not fun. I came down with a 102 degree temp. and 4 new teeth cutting through. So that day dad took care of Kaitlyn and mom and I laid on the couch together in our pj's until about 1pm. Mom liked the cuddle time but felt bad that I had to get sick to do it. By Sunday I was back to myself - laughing and playing like before.
Good thing all my teeth are almost here.

Fine Motor Skills

I have been really working on my fine motor skills lately. I love to write on things and color. Mom sets up a work station for me on the floor with either newspaper or a towel. I love to color in my Cinderella coloring book. Once in a while I mark on daddy's floor and then I get my colors taken away. But for the most part I keep the color in the book. A pencil and blank paper are my favorites - I really can mark up a page! Sometimes I just like to give mom all the crayons to hold and then put them back - over and over and over.
As a side note - I am experimenting with both hands... I color and write mostly with my right hand, but eat with silverware in my left. My parents can't figure it out. I will keep them guessing!
