I am growing again!

I am 4 months old now and am steadily growing. I went to the doctor for my check-up (and shots) and Dr. Copeland was very impressed with me! I am 25 inches and weigh 14 lbs. 14 oz!!! I have gained about a pound and a half in one month! I have good head control and love the new toys I am presented with. (I tend to get bored with those infant games.) Here I am playing in my exersaucer. I concentrate hard and grab onto the toys. I am also able to push my body up on my legs to workout. Grandpa Dallas would be proud of my exercising!

I also like to spend time in my bouncer chair on the counter watching mom and dad cook or lounging in front of the tv watching a Baby Einstein video. But my favorite is when mom and I dance and sing together to music. Despite dad's objections, I really like country music just like mom! We are into Faith Hill and Tim McGraw since mom got to see them in concert the other week. I smile and laugh when I see mom sing to me. But my all time favorite is when mom sings me the "Roll Over" song. Even when I am fussy, it cheers me right up!
The other day my parents got ambitious and finally put up the rest of the decorations in my room. My Godmother Kim made my name from wooden letters... here is how it is displayed above my bed. I can lay on my back and see the pretty colors. (Thanks Kim!)

More summer fun!

Last weekend my parents took one more trip up north to visit my dad's family. I met my cousins Erin and Scot for the first time. They went to lunch with us and Great-Grandma Arline. We had fun at the restaurant... I was pretty good considering I had just been in a car for 2 hours!

My new love is helping Mom water her plants. She puts me in the snuggly with a hat on (I sunburn easily like my dad) facing out so I can see. Then I watch her hold the hose over all the flowers and water. I am excited for the day when I can "play" out in the yard with her!

Look at me!

I am loving my bath times now. I lounge in the mini tub, splash around, and know that a bottle and bedtime are near. It is a great way to feel refreshed before taking my long night time sleep.
I am also doing my exercises everyday and my legs are getting stronger all the time. Here I am standing up with a little help from Daddy. He thinks I will be walking early. But let me master the crawl first!
